Work and Income

Spoke to a woman on the phone today, she was chuckling while she was speaking to me. It was super demeaning, unprofessional, and sadly common behaviour by Work and Income representatives.

Absolutely deserved 5 star. From the case managers to Willy on the front counter to the wonderful friendly security staff (one young lass who even assisted my grandmother and got her a cool cup of water and a chair) also helped me immensely in trying to find work and relocate to Wellington. Couldnt recommend this branch more! Keep up the tremendous work!

Bad experience, I have multiple health issues though not as bad as other people who are in severe medical conditions, I have ctpsd, anxiety as well as have tried to commit suicide multiple times in the past, though I look well, fit and have the appearance of a healthy young man. At first glance they may seem kind and caring but as time goes on you will feel pressured and pushed, A case manager by the name of Robin had been offensive quite a few times, even to the point of discrimination, I personally felt bullied and belittled a couple of times and am always nervous to actually go inside the building now. The reason why I'm not giving this a one star is because there are some nice people who work there, every appointment I have had with willy has been a positive one and he actually made me feel encouraged. But the feeling that I got was that they don't care, they just want to get their job done, get me out of the way and yeah, started off alright but no, bad experience down the line. Sometimes, they make me feel even worse rather than trying to help, thanks for that.

Ive always been helped and treated like i matter and sometimes they go above what i was asking about.
