        Up for a work, stayed in November when Auckland was in Lockdown so Haihei was a ghost town apart from the lovely locals. Weather was stunning. Not too hot, but felt like summer for a Wellingtonian Accomodation is like a home away from home. If you're a nature / bird lover you'll be in heaven at the Ponga Lodge as the accomodation is above tree top level to the most beautiful native forest - sit out on the deck for hours watching. It was like staying in a tree house! Wifi fab, got there in the end with casting to TV, and host very accomodating. Electric bikes were fun too. About a 10-15 minute walk to beach. Very easy to work remotely and unwind here. Plus special thanks for allowing me to stay with my house proud Husky. She loved it so much too. Will be back!
