        Farmland being planted with natives including kauri, wonderful beach with ancient phutukawa, historic site for Mori and James Cook.

        Nice lookout with walking track, lots of native plants. If you walk down to the beach, there is a Cove where Captain James Cook used to get fresh water for the Endeavour ship. In this area there is also the most amazing old tree, here before Cook! Said to be somewhere around 800yrs old. There are toilets here but this is a no rubbish zone, please take your rubbish with you to keep nature looking its best.
