Te Karo Bay car park

Good upgrade on toilets since the last time i was there in 2019. Beach is always nice for a dive with either with a speargun or just a knife. Or relax and surfcast.

Superb quiet beach, dog friendly

Can fit about 10-15 cars. One toilet (long drop), emptied daily. Some good lunch spots. Plenty of space for picnics actually. Nice long quiet beach. 20 minute walk to Otara Bay

Theres not many beaches that are prestine with white sand and a car park just a stone's throw away. Best part is that you can bring your dog anytime of the day any day of the year! On leash and under control ofcourse :) From the car park theres a cemented path heading down to the beach and in less than 2mins your already on the sand. Theres also a single public rest room in the car park and with the town of Tairua just down the road you can get your beach supplies before heading here.
