Beautiful retreat centre ran by lovely people. Managers Paul and Anna Lena and chef Grace were marvellous staff. Hope to come back to explore more of its tracks. Make sure you look for the secret garden with flowers. A secret place for lunch or lazy afternoon to soak up the peace and beauty. Also go up to Manok/ Phoneix cottage if you didn't stop by entrance to marvel at the view of the valley and the islands in the distance harbour. The place is off grid, so they use solar power and no problem even at recent Gabrielle cyclone Feb 2023. The place need support to keep it running, volunteer your time be on service team or monthly donations. This is a unique place with thousand year old ferns. Let's keep this treasure alive NZ!

Absolutely the most wonderful, spiritual and rare place. The hosts, the multicultural staff, the food, the facilitators, the bush and river and walks, the outdoor spaces. Incredible. Moving. Home. Thank you to everyone involved in my experience. I have missed the Coromandel, it is such an amazing place. Thank you everyone.
