        A great experience of seeing native New Zealand trees. Parking is limited and possibly an unsealed road as our last visit was 2017 and it could have been upgraded. Because of the extreme weather the Coromandel has been having in the last few weeks there has been many road slips including the Tapu Coroglen road and at this time, February 2023, the road is closed. Would advise doing local checks to find out if accessible prior to going.
