Purangi is located in a great spot with views down to the water. Located on an organic farm, they only use what they grow in their liqueurs. Danny is a great host with funny stories who will keep you entertained.

A lovely quirky place to taste some amazing liquors. Danny was a very colourful person who had great stories to share. Very much enjoyed our stop here. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had a blast! I highly recommend, especially if you want to try something different. Dan took us through the tastings which involved hilarious bits of history of NZ and the meaning behind words associated with his products which extend to Europe and the middle east. We could not resist the feijoa liquer, palinka and the araraq . Also, the views from the winery at the top of the hill are breathtaking.
