Jamaica Blue

I went to Jamaica Blue in Hamilton this morning and ordered a milkshake. The lady taking my order looked like she didn't want to be at work and also could not show me any respect while taking my order. I waited and watched as others who were served after me get their orders then once I moved closer to where she was standing she decided to make milkshake. Now to me a milkshake is made with Milk, flavouring and ICE CREAM. NOT Ice. This was disgusting. How can they get away with making substandard product. I wasted $8 on a milky flavored water drink today If I could go half a star I would. Very disappointed

Staff do not smile, except for man that usually makes the coffee,he is only friendly staff member. 1 other person ordered a coffee before I ordered a toasted sandwich. The girl who started heating/toasting my sandwich then bundled up rubbish bags to take out, went off & took rubbish out, came back, didn't wash hands then continued on with removing my sandwich from press. After 20mins of waiting I finally got my toasted sandwich & cldnt believe the cheese still wasn't even melted. Only had 30mins for lunch break. Time before that was approx a month prior & toasted sandwich was heated in oven behind counter,again a long wait but as it was taken out of machine the tomato & cheese filling slid out onto floor & yet all I got was a oops and what was left was put in a bag and handed to me....no offer of can we heat another one for you etc etc. It's a shame as the man who does the coffees provides great friendly service and so does the lovely red-headed girl. Won't spend my money there again (threw in bin after I took photo). YUCK!

Terrible experience. The table was dirty so I asked for a cloth but was told the waitress will clean. She comes and flicked a dry cloth across the table and left crumbs behind. I showed her so she flicked it off. The cloth isn't wet to clean the table so she asked me to move table. I would like to sit here please so she cleaned the table after wetting the cloth. I brought 2 $4 biscuits they were thin and hard definitely not worth it however the cappuccino was delicious!
