Charge nurse, Simiwe on ward A4 - unempathetic, unprofessional, no compassion, rude and very much in the wrong job. My son was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident and airlifted to this hospital so away from home and support. This nurse has made a really upsetting, difficult time even more so. Will file a formal complaint on her suggestion but as she really didn't care less, it indicates to me that nothing much will be done about it. Jade on ward M17 was exceptional, and thank you for the care and support you showed us.

The staff here do wonders considering the work conditions and chronic understaffing. I dont know what the board are doing to resolve it and I know theres shortages everywhere right now but even more healthcare assistants would help. The wards are always clear and staff warm and friendly. To the nurses: You guys deserve the world, youre the best, dont forget that

Chris from the amu department above emergency room is a real piece of work. He gets names wrong and sends patients to different departments and then when you bring it up with him he gets upset after my wife told him to stop laughing at her face about it. 27/04/2023 been back again. Mrs there since Thursday. Get to Wednesday if the following week of the 28th visit to the hospital and 28th ambulance rung. Spent a few days in there over the last 14 month twice a month. still no diagnosis. As she was feeling better health we ask to go home for the night and come back for the MRI in the morning that was booked in to check the slipped disc they may have found in the x ray but as she wanted to go home they tell us they cancel our MRI, cancel any help amd treatment so we have to call an ambulance again. When asked for a referral to be made they denied us and would not give us any help. So we will see them again in a few weeks to do the whole thing again. Left the iv line in this time. So we've had someone else's morphine given, then they attempted to give colonoscapy when there for MRI as mixed up two names that start with R. And taken the Gaul blatter out as a guess and found it was not the reason for pain. Now they say it may be nerve damage. When I ask the staff about these things, they deny having anything to do with it. They treat us like farmed pigs. What a useless bunch. Why take a medical oath in the first place. Everyone is more worried about money than doing a good job.

The kiwi Indian doctor in the rehabilitation department is rude, unprofessional and lack of respect towards Asian women. He shouted to my mom in room when my grandfather was admitted to hospital (last 3 days of his life). The caregivers r awful, when visitors left, the caregivers dont even pass water and pills closer to my sick grandpa. I completely have lost hope in this hospital. Please put a camera for your loved ones in this hospital you will know how they are really being treated. Hospital should take feedback seriously!
