        I bought a canister of Annie Sloan paint because I have heard really good things and when I opened the canister it was rusted inside. I was so disappointed as it was $70, i went back to discuss it with them and only the daughter was there and she said that it was my fault and they would not take any responsibility for it. Alongside that it was quite obvious that she is against covid 19 regulations as she made snarky comments about me wearing a mask. I would not recommend this place to anyone, i thought i would shop local but it was such a disappointment.

        Love this shop, such a cool array of interesting things and loads of NZ made products. Always leave delighted with my purchases and Kate that owns and runs the shop always leaves me smiling. Did I also mention she always has coffee on the brew and great music playing. The Paint and fabric shop next door which shares the space is a nice accompaniment to Needle in the hay.
