We have dined in most restaurants in Hamilton and tonight we dined at Shinjuku and it is a 10/10 rating from us. The food is authentic and superbly cooked. All 6 dishes that we had were exquisitive and could not be faulted. Small quiet restaurant, service was outstanding, and we talked to the elderly owner who is also the chef and we knew instantly that his cooking skills were masterful, hence the extraordinary food. There was only 1 dessert on the menu, but you didnt need any other choices, because the fried banana with green tea ice cream was amazing! Try it, you wont be disappointed! Lovely restaurant, will definitely be back sometime. 4 stars only because the food was not the best Japanese food in Hamilton, but definitely yummy! Kid-friendliness: Waiter immediately brought out a lovely highchair for our baby.
