We came here for a special occasion. We arrived at opening. The place was not that busy. We waited an hour plus before some of the food arrived (We asked the waitress for it all to arrive together so we could eat together). After the hours wait, it was 20 plus minutes later for my partners meal to arrive. It really put a dampener on a special occasion. The portions are tiny. My dish which was the fish was exceptionally small. $41 for a half piece of fish. Is hardly acceptable. I know this restaurant is some what fine dining but I have not experienced this at other restaurants -Palate etc. The razor clam entree was merely a string of meat in a shell for $25. My husband was still hungry after spending close to $200. Id advise others to choose a different restaurant. Where the staff actually fill the glasses with water instead of just standing by the bar. This is how you hospitality! I havent been in years and I simply forgot how amazing this place was. We had a huge group of us and we went all out with cocktails, entrees and mains. Atmosphere was fun & sophisticated, wait staff were exceptional, the mixologist accompanied our weird drink requests and the food was so beautiful. I cant wait to go back!
