Welllets just say your front of house lady needs a bit of an attitude adjustment. From the first moment we Walked in we were greeted with a grumpy persona. We were only after a couple of takeaway coffees, I had my own alternative milk and was not expecting it to be less $ (i have a few allergies) With the filthiest look on her face and a lot of resistance she responds that they already have alternative milk, smiling I just said is it ok to use the one I had. Everything was an issue. No customer service skills from this woman she was awful to be quite direct. Not only did we not feel welcomed but the coffee was burnt and undrinkable it certainly wasnt possible to go back to ask for a re do, goodness knows what we would have been up against then. Everyone has bad days sure but If something had ticked her off for the day she really let it out on other customers. For a place that has won quite a few awards, your front of house staff are your face, this face was not professional or the slightest bit friendlyits put me off trying this spot again.

Food was good, service was horrible. Unfriendly, not attentive. It is also not that child friendly. We actually asked if we could sit on a bench, since we had a baby with us who cannot yet sit, so it would be great to lay him in the bench, but we got a no. So I had to hold him in my arms the whole time. Minutes later there were plenty other people sitting in the bench We also occasionally spilled a glass of water - nobody even tried to bring some napkins or so to dry the table. The place is rather touristic, so they do not care much about you - tomorrow there will be new visitors coming anyway.

Went there on a Sunday night well before their posted closing time, and the hostess immediately turned us away, saying they were full, when there were many empty tables clearly visible. I walked outside and Googled our alternate options. Seeing there was nowhere else to eat, I went back inside to inquire about carryaway/takeout. The hostess clocked me standing there and gave me a dirty look like she was annoyed I was back. I asked about takeaway and she said no. After reading other reviews, it's clear they just wanted to close early.
