        Realitively expensive, food presented well, but doughy, undercooked corn fritters!, unhelpful staff, opens late 10am, no mags or paper. Not suitable for single or small group diners. Don't bother ....

        A rural delight. The welcome mat was extended with warm smiles as I approached the front entrance. Our hostess engaging & the service we recieved beyond measure. Menu options to suit all, despite the supply chain issues we are all well aware of. This is definitely a destination worthy of consideration & I highly recommend. For my visit I elected the Old Te Aroha highway making it a scenic trip enjoying the quiet of country roads. Thank you Old Forge Kitchen for providing a stunning venue for our wee family reunion.
