        Clean, it's a septic tank style- no running water, so you may like to have some sanitizer. Note some while ago the door lock was smashed, so it can't be locked when you're using the toilet. It's quite busy so if you're shy bring some one to stand outside!

        This is the worst stop heading down or up the island. As it is a long drop the smell is terrible. It's such a pity people decide to use the toilet outside of it rather than Inside. Surely Whakamaru can have at least one working public toilet available that flushes and has water to wash our hands.
