        Lamb shank was just okay but rump steak was as tough as old boots, 50 percent gristle. Disappointing.

        Small quaint restaurant that happily took a walk-in table for 2 for dinner on a Tuesday - I suggest larger groups book. Meals had good flavours. Seafood chowder lacked seafood and needed more than just shrimp. Steak was cooked as requested and was a very generous size. Chicken roulade was good but the sauce was very sweet for my tastes. Satisfying meal.
