        Last weekend (being avid mountain bikers) decided to ride The Great Lake Trail from Waihaha Bridge to Whakaipo Bay. This involved a pick up service by Bay2Bay Ferry Water Taxi at Waihora Bay. We booked and paid for 1.30pm pick up to Kawakawa Bay. Unfortunately it did not arrive until 3.15pm - NO APOLOGIES. We were left short of time and unable to complete the trail. Truly BAD service and would not recommend. Tourist operators do have to remember they need to provide a good service to ALL their paying customers, especially in this current tourist climate.

        We had a great trip from Waihora to Kawakawa with Cat and Daniel. The weather was simply incredible and we had many great views from Lake Taupo. The hosts are very nice and looked after us fantastically. It was just incredibly beautiful and really worth it. I've heard that the two also organize sightseeing tours, so we'll certainly do one next time! Can't wait to see you again! Many greetings!
