We really enjoyed it! The visit was not in our plans but we came across it as we were going to the Waitomo Caves, and we absolutely do not regret it. We had to be patient but got lucky enough to see two kiwis! One cute 6-month old from far away, and one one-year old which went out for a drink just in front of us. It was amazing! It was also really nice to see (and hear) all the other birds and geckos. The kiwi house does a great job for the protection of many different species, and the staff was very friendly! Thanks a million for this lovely opportunity. Just not that one part of the parc is closed at the moment for renovation which won't allow you to see the prey birds, but there is still a lot to see. :) We spent about 2 hours there.
