        A quick tramp from the Waitomo Glow Worm carpark. I strongly suggest to make a quick detour to this spot. The scenery is breath taking. Better to wear gumboots during winter or spring.

        A very less explored spot at the Iconic Waitomo Caves. Very easily accessible from the main car park near the Waitomo iSite. The walk is through the Waitomo caves domain and through the dense bush. The walkway is well maintained and has some wooden steps. Still it can become slippery in the rain and caution is recommended. After a 5-10 mins walk through the bush, the lookout can be seen nearby and the views are very nice. The platform on the lookout point offers 360 degrees views. Very nice and well recommended for a quick half an hour hike to the top.
