        Awesome lake. Nice and quiet, perfect for families and young ones to have a splash. Looks like a great spot to bring the kayaks too.

        Nice, easy walk. Flat, unsealed footpath. Quiet and peaceful. Good place for picnics. Nasty toilets though. There was a sign that said water is unsuitable for swimming (14/2).

        Nice spot for a picnic, walk and swim. Turn off at the KFC in Huntly. Keep following the road over the bridge and past Cobham Cres. It's the first turn on your right, when you see a 'train station' looking building. There is lots of parking here, along with boat ramps. The walk/ride/run is mainly flat and wide, with grassy areas to kick back for the day. Looks like it's a popular boating, fishing and swimming spot too, with the locals indulging on the day we were there. A nice place to have a break in your travels.
