[previous] I posted an earlier review I need to revise, which was 5 stars for the cheese; minus 4 for customer service.
I'm a long-standing fan, and simply love their cheese. I had an incident where I stopped there after a tough drive from Auckland in crazy weather, arriving 4 minutes after closing time. The door was locked and I was ignored by two staff members while I standing there in the pouring rain.
After this feedback, the owner contacted me, apologised and said theyd review training. And sent me some cheese as a make-good. Still not an experience I can totally forget, but the effort and excellent communication after went a long way. As did the cheese. Faith restored!
