        Very isolated rural hall

        Spent many evenings here as a kid from 1963 to 1971, when my parents farmed a bit down the road from the hall. It was a different era - there were farewell socials in May to farewell those leaving the district, and socials in early June to welcome the new farmers to the district. Christmas socials, the Division meetings (Women's Division of Federated Farmers), fancy dress evenings, weekly table tennis nights in the winter and lots more. Happy memories.
