Tairua-Pauanui Pharmacy

For a small Beachside Community this Pharmacy is an innovative and fabulous asset. I got sick at Easter, no Doctors on duty, and with many roads still unreliable at best, being able to go to the Pharmacy for an online Doctors Consultation and a prescription emailed to the Pharmacy, I was able to head home to Pauanui and recover, rather than suffering for the long weekend and trying to get a doctor's appointment the following week. The service the Pharmacy provides the people of Tairua, Pauanui, and surrounding areas is invaluable. In addition, it is a great place to shop the abundance of pharmacy products and beautiful gifts. My all time favourite pharmacy which has pretty much everything! Great place for your prescriptions, vaccinations and buying random stuff. Their Boody range is addictive! I always stop by whenever Im in Tairua!

I got sick on New Year's Eve when no regular doctors were open. I arrived just after 10am on what was a very busy day. Andi has set up a great online service that puts her customers into an online consultation with a doctor who then sends any prescription straight to the pharmacy. I was back on the road at 11am with a bagful of pills and an informed diagnosis. Brilliant service and a smart use of technology !

Aside from the fact the store looks FANTASTIC we had a Covid scare in our house, called them, were very well advised, made our purchase across the phone and drove down. We called them when we arrived and they came out, with a smile and a wave and left our goodies on the car bonnet and wha-lah! We drove home all sorted. Amazing, 'above-and-beyond' service, advice and consideration from the wonderful team at Tairua Pharmacy. I LOVE this pharmacy. It's exactly what a local pharmacy should be!!
