Have stopped here a few times on trips around Coromandel but no more. After entering the cafe we were looking at the beverage board. Two staff did not acknowledge our presence. A voice behind us said " I need to get through there ". No excuse me. It was kitchen staff trying to access the kitchen. Three times we asked for iced coffees and menus. We were told that we could not take the coffees outside until we paid for them. The person who needed 'to get through there ' told us that if we were also going to eat we should order everything at once as it makes it easier for them. Then the EFTPOS machine would not accept a card. ( 4 attempts). Paywave may have worked but that would incur an extra charge. We left. It doesn't matter how good you think your coffee and food are if your manners suck. May I suggest a course on customer relations. A bit of a downer on our day.
