        The camp looks full from the road but those are permanent caravans/buses. There is a huge grass field behind it with heaps of space for visitors/backpackers. The view was really nice on the ocean/bay west of Coromendal. The hot shower was really great, good pressure and only 50c for 5 minutes which was perfect. There is also a common kitchen area with sinks/microwave/stove/fridge. Owner was extremely kind and we had nice talks with him and anyone who was staying there in permanent lots. Price/quality is good. Definitely recommend if you visit Coromendal peninsula!

        We made an impromptu stop here on our way to Coromandel and so glad we did!! The camp is old school and bought back lots of wonderful nostalgic childhood memories. We had an awesome spot on the waters edge. $20 per night for an unpowered site was great value. The lady who served us was friendly, relaxed and helpful. Amenities arent flash but thats part of the charm. Bonus points for the friendly camp cats and the local pub across the road. We are already looking forward to our next visit
