It was an ok experience. Food wasnt ready at the same time, and took a while to come, around 40 minutes for a time when we were one of the only people in the cafe. The coffees broke the time up, but again it took much longer than it should. I do understand all things take time but when the cafe is quiet and our order isnt that large it shouldnt take 15 minutes for coffee to arrive. Coffee was only ok, tasted mildly over extracted. Cabinet food and kitchen food do take different amounts of time to prepare and I would understand if they came out at different times, but the pasta and cabinet food came out first, 5 minutes later another meal arrived, another 5 minutes later the last meal arrived. That is an unnecessary and painful amount of time between each meal. Now the food. Most of the food was very good and we appreciate the accommodations that were made for us, however the pasta was subpar. The special was a Creamy Pesto Chicken Pasta and it sounded very tasty. However, I was let down. The chicken was nowhere to be found. Instead I found an extreme amount of mushrooms, which I did expect because of the name, but I didnt expect the mushrooms to replace the chicken. I was incredibly disappointed because the sauce was tasty and the pasta was cooked well. However, unfortunately it only warrants 2 stars because of the slowness and missing parts of food. I work at 2 hospo jobs, both very fast paced places, with high turnover yet we dont have these kinds of issues in my work places. The staff were friendly and all, but the person who took our order seemed abrupt. Which is fine, makes sense in a cafe, but it seemed like you were trying to push us away. Disappointing considering we had been before and had better experiences.

No vegan/plant based options like so many more modern cafes have. Actually went here with my parents once and after inquiring about vegan options and being told there were none a staff member came out whilst we were having our drinks and pestered us for suggestions, which we helpfully gave, then she started saying that they had dog treats that were vegan ???? Very bizarre experience, wont be back
