Visited Volare today. After living out of town for a long time, was very excited when I saw it so walked in with a with a big smile on my face. Unfortunately the customer service was very poor and I felt quite unwelcome. The girl serving me was quite short and rude even after I clarified if they were still open/serving coffee given her demeanour. When I ordered an ice coffee she sternly retorted 'what type of coffee?' when I looked confused she repeated it. Then she yelled, water or milk. I clarified yes I would like a coffee with milk thanks. I went and sat in the sun and I could hear yelling from indoors every couple of minutes.. I thought oh what's going on in there. Then I heard it again and realised she was yelling 'ice coffee' I went in and got it. There were no other customers.. The other young girl chuckled, I think they found being rude to customers entertaining. The pastry I had and the coffee were great. Volare is always top quality and I will definitely return to the Hamilton East store...
