been waiting YEARS for help with flooding still no help, shame wasn't a council persons place would be sorted straight away.

after billing $27 dollars for a tiny little recycling bin and paying $66 in rates for waste collection and $179 for solid waste rate to still have them not collect their blue rubbish bags and recycling bin. i call them up and they pass the buck of not our problem and were still going to screw ya for the cost

Rates are way to expensive, so is rubbish collection.and the library wouldn't let me and my 3 year old girl in today,as I can not get vax as I am highly allergic to heavy metals..all I wanted to do is get some papers printed while I sent through email and stand outside with my daughter and wasn't aloud....even though I pay over 60$ a week rates.and we don't get to use library...taupo counsil already dropped the mandates.as they are not lawful....

If you ever you ever thought of buying in this area DON'T. The rates are so out of proportion under a dysfunctional, wasteful council that only takes care of a small select number of its rate payers to the detriment of others. The actions of this council are highly irregular and questionable. This country is pure King country clan. It seems this council are happy to let Bill Mitchell spoil the last long weekend for families down this end of the village by burning toxic waste now they have given him leeway to distroy easter as well for those same families. How about representing ALL your rate payers for a change. Glad Bill Mitchell is finally being made to clean up his long drop. He do like playing in his own waste much to his neighbors disgust.
