        Recently Te Kuiti Primary School has had a Teacher Only Day. However they still allowed children to attend and provided a teacher to care for them. My son was one of the children who just had to attend, as I could not make any other arrangements. Thankfully he had a great day and came home with some amazing art work. I have just learnt that the school does not have to provide this service, and would I like to thank them for doing so. I am very grateful that there is this option for parents who cannot take the day off work or have limited family support. This was not the first time I have had to send my child into school on a Teach Only Day, and probably wont be the last. So thank you TKP for making the effort to support your families in the community, it is appreciated.
