        Cutting corners to save time and money. Unfortunately our less than 10 year old entire home had gib nailed rather than screwed which has all popped - why is anyone nailing gib it's not 1950 anymore. Plastering finish is terrible over the entire house and there is not a single ceiling join that has been back blocked or joined on a stud so every single join has cracked. Roof/flashings aren't great either with water pooling in some areas. Not necessarily a representation of A1 homes however it is their job to quality control tradesmen that they enlist to build their homes which was never done...
