Got told I wasn't Allowed to charge my phone Got told employees aren't even allowed to charge their phones that's fine but just get some pug blockers then only reason I ate there in the first place Van lifeing it and if the van doesn't move my second battery does charge It was more a safety thing for myself as well being able to call for help if the cyclone got really bad

I was passing through Thames on the 30th of Dec with a party of 6 looking for brunch options. As it turned out, most cafes were only offering cabinet food, so we decided that we would eat fresh and go for the usually reliable subway. First impressions of the store were like any of the other franchises, minus the self service soda machine. The smell of freshly baked bread roused the senses and had me excited for what was to come. I was served by a young lady in her early twenties, accompanied by an older women also working behind the counter. Team morale appeared to be pretty low. I decided to opt for my usual foot long Italian herbs with 3 pepper chicken, cheddar cheese, toasted, the works, topped off with chipotle sauce. On this day I thought I would treat myself to avocado as I knew I would need the sustenance going into a big 2 nights over new years. Upon ordering the avocado, the young lady said she would need to replenish it, and went out back to fetch more of the fresh avocado. I waited for 5 minutes, as customers behind me in the line careered onto salad selections, while my toasted sub and chicken cooled off waiting for their counterparts to be added. Finally the avo had been found, and I was delighted to be served with a generous portion of the avocado. No cookie, no drink, tap, and I was dining in. When I opened the sub, the contents spilled onto the wrapping paper, not a problem I thought and stuffed the fillings back into the herby, room temperature toasted bread. My first bite certainly didnt deliver as my pallet was hit the polarising warm chicken and frozen avocado. I took another bite which reconfirmed that the avocado paste was as fresh as a fruju from the local dairy. Maybe an off day from the team but a disappointing experience.
