So glad we stopped for ice cream in Tirau, the best ice cream we have had in a long time. All made on the premises, creamy, delicious, a generous serve of ice cream and our dogs got their own cup of deliciousness too! Honey and fig was honey sweet and a good balance of fig pieces, the chocolate - dark and rich and smooth. It is right on the main road, Parking either at the door or next door at the petrol station, and the playground is at the back of the parking area.
