Tuakau Health Centre

Hi I have the uttermost respect for Dr Lorn Buhler she has always been very attentive to my needs .. But I have to say I think there is errors happening ..I received a txt today prescription I is ready to collect . Alas no prescription to be found at chemist or at the reception. I then get a call to say I have to come in again to see another Dr What is going on ..This is not the first time .. More expense to me plus my time.

Just wanted to share that my partner came in last week to see the fasting nurse. He was blown away by how kind, caring and empathetic she was to his situation. He was so reluctant to attend after being referred by his doctor there but said he was met with one of the kindest most non-judgemental nurses and his experience was fantastic. He could even explain the fasting to me after his consult, said she really spent the time to make sure he understood and he was so appreciative. Thank you to the Tuakau team who can really inspire an otherwise reluctant participant in my partner!

Worse medical centre I have ever experienced! After being referred to this health clinic by the Ambulance. (which is another story) this clinic made a choice to then tell me they could not see me and referred me to another clinic 15 minutes away. At the time I found it difficult to breathe, talk, swollow and my pain was sitting at a high 9.The amount of money that goes into the health systems, hands down it continuesly fails the people. I am not one to complain about much but as I lay here in hospital nearly 2wks after my episode. You ain't no medical professionals, you are a virus in that system!!
