This company also left us stranded in National Park after telling us wed be picked up there. It was a lie to get money. Our bank gave us our money but they tried to scam us.

Booked for 2nd time, last time we used these guys back in 2021 it was great. This time although on schedule and still good service, we were told we had to park on the road side, meaning an extra 1km walk back to the car after finishing the 20ish KM crossing so just be prepared for that!

Tongariro Expeditions provided timely and clear communication throughout the booking and shuttle process. I was very pleased there were able to accommodate a request 2 days before for the hike, which was also awesome. Thanks again!

We had a great experience with Tongariro Expeditions; we received communication via email the night before with directions and weather updates and our driver was kind and upbeat upon our early arrival at 6:30a!! Tongariro Expeditions was an awesome way to start our day on the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, thank you!

We recently completed the fantastic Tongariro Alpine Crossing and after searching for the right option as to where we will park etc we chose to use Tongariro Expeditions Ketetahi Park N' Ride (One Way Morning Shuttle). Easy-peasy! We booked in online for the 07:30 shuttle, instantly received a confirmation email confirming pickup location and details. What we really liked was the email just the day before titled All go! Advising on the weather expected for the walk, and further info and advice on what to take. We parked up on the morning and our friendly shuttle driver Greg soon arrived, on the shuttle he gave some advice, and maps whilst waiting for any stragglers and had a few jokes which was a nice way to start the day. 8 hours later, we returned to our motorhome. We were a little dubious leaving our motorhome at the pick-up location, but it was absolutely fine, and if youre really worried you can pay to go in private carpark (space depending) very close to the pickup location. This is through a different company though! We will use Tongariro Expeditions again in the future and recommend them! Thanks to Mandy for answering all of our questions.
