Wonderful story of the power of the gospel. Quite an emotional place to visit. My children have read books about Tarore, so visiting this site was a great way to make the story real for them. High recommended, read the story before you visit.

An unassuming place (drive down the driveway and follow a rough driveway to the corner of the field) holding a poignant reminder of a young life cut short and the way in which God used Tarores gospel of Luke (Te Rongopai E Ruka) in changing the history of New Zealand. Worth a brief visit.
