        A1 service and extremely friendly and helpful representative. You need to organize the reservation before you arrive. The phone at the Avis desk connects directly to the managers mobile. I called after closing time at 5:30 without reservation after missing the shuttle and got a clean car with free gps

        Bobbie from Avis in Taupo was amazing. I had not booked a car and we got the last one. The elderly friends I was helping organize the car for did not speak very good English, however we managed to get them on their way. Bobbie was so patient and went out of her way to help. Thank you.

        Tried renting through the website giving dates and times when you are open and got an error message advising the rental location is closed during the times I have requested.
