        Had the Fish burger. Absolutely terrible. Ended up eating just a few bites of the fish. My stomach still feels queezy hours afterwards. Fish was like rubber coated with crumb. Possibly the worst fish burger I have had In sometime, and at $24, well overpriced for a small pre frozen factory processed fillet. The bun was the only good part. At least the coffee was good.

        We enjoyed our yummy brunch at Blackies Cafe & their most delicious jalapeos & cheese scones, crispy on the outside & soft on the inside, the best ever The coffee was perfect too Sadly the power was off on our last day at Whangamata so didnt get back for an encore Looking forward to returning for our holidays next year. Best wishes to the cheerful & competent team at Blackies Grateful thanks, Susan & Don Cambridge
