        Brilliant campground 2 minutes from the shopping center in one direction and 2 minutes to the beach in the other. Even though it's very humble, (it desperately needs a makeover) prime location and cheap rates give this 5 stars. You get what you pay for and since I'm on a budget I'm happy to pay less for humble amenities. The most important thing is it's CLEAN and tidy and the staff are great. $22 for a powered site at the end of summer, hot showers are extra tho but only $1, and you get unlimited wifi. You can't ask for more really. Compared to whitianga @ $28 plus an extra $5 for wifi because the 100mg they give you is not enough, it compares very well indeed.
