Dont stay here! The owner is horrible. He charged us an additional $75 for our 3 kids to stay in the family room with us then didnt provide any additional bedding and said we should bring our own. When we said If he was charging us he should supply it started yelling at us. In general, the mattresses are horrible and you can feel the springs. You can hear people walking around in the flat above you. Worst place we have stayed in a long time.

Stayed for only 1 night, but will definitely use Southpacific Motel for stays in Whangamata again. Very friendly and hard working owners. Checking in and out was a breeze, the room was very clean and well stocked with milk/towels/shampoo etc. The sky TV and spa was a nice bonus too. The spa was a good temperature and well maintained/clean.
