        What a neat place! We had a family wedding there. Everyone was accommodated. Cabins, camping (tents and vehicles) Facilities were clean with a fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of clean toilets and showers. Caretaker was helpful and obliging. Barbecues available too. Plenty grass areas to play on with outdoor tables. There was a volleyball net. Beautiful beaches and bush walks close by.

        A hidden gem, simply AWESOME Custodian Mike will make you feel right at home, ask him for his secret fishing spot, he might even take you for a fish Camp is basic, affordable, very clean, every piece of cooking equipment you could imagine! Bush walks, kayaking, fishing, swimming. Cant wait to re visit this beautiful, quiet hidden gem. Thank you Mike, for your true blue kiwi hospitality Kerry

        We had an AWESOME time at whatekawa lodge, only planned to stay one night but we stayed 3 ! Such a peaceful and beautiful place where you can go kayaking, fishing, looking for mussels, swim, or just rest listening to the beautiful songs of birds. Highly recommend. Perfect spot to stay in Coromandel. Thank you for being such welcoming people
