Tidewater Motel and Tourist Park

This place is a little gem. The unit we stayed in far exceeded my expectations. Super clean and very comfortable. Lovely continental breakfast waiting for us. Wireless lamp phone charger was the icing on the cake. Shelley was lovely, pointed us to the Star and Garter for dinner and it didn't disappoint. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly Recommend.

I was meant to sleep two nights in this motel. However, because of the cyclone, I couldn't drive up to the Coromandel. First, many roads were being closed one by one. Second, the government said to go to the Coromandel only if it was essential and not to travel. I tried calling the lady to ask a refund as the weather conditions wouldn't let me go but she was very rude and not nice. She wanted me to drive in the middle of the cyclone. She wasn't polite at all. Maybe it's good I couldn't go because no one wants to meet someone that rude.

After traveling all day with my family i was relieved to arrive.we have group of 10 persons booked for 6 persons motel. We have a plan to do dinner together then move out but she wasnt accepting kick us out from motel Lady owner were aggressive, argumentative and denied a refund. No apology, no sympathy, threatening to call cop. Leaving a family with a young child with nowhere to stay. Guests shouldn't get treated poorly because theirs booking t&c . Very disappointingsituation.
