Chicking Taupo

Cold chips, burgers squashed, soggy buns, drink flat.

During our visit to Taupo from Melbourne, me and my partner had chicken toasty at Chicking. It was very tasty and we both loved it! On our way out, we visited Chicking again. This time we had chicken toasty and Soho rice, both were amazing. We were very satisfied with our experience with Chicking Taupo and next time we are in Taupo, definitely going there.

My partner and I visited Taupo during our recent visit to New Zealand and were blown away by the quality of food and service, especially during the busy Easter weekend. Even at my local place (Melbourne), we had not encountered such a pleasant and welcoming environment. We had the Toasties and Soho rice. This is undoubtedly one of the nicest meals we've ever had, and we visited twice in two days. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Nope, disappointing and no value for money let alone quality. There was no potato & gravy and I was given a coleslaw substitute that was soggy and disgusting to smell. Chips cold and the burger below standard.

Order spicy and no spice at all Coleslaw taste like plain mayo Place was dirty and slippery and greasy everywhere We asked do they get busy only holidays Well then you should be able to clean on every day Potato and gravy yuck Chicken swimming in grease Do not go back there this is a warning So finanlly got time to update my review i ended up falling ill on my drive to Auckland and had to stop due to food poisoning and unfortunately these guys are the only thing i had eaten in the 24 hours prior to going there
