Stay Taupo Boutique Bed and Breakfast

What a lovely B & B! The hosts were welcoming and the room was divine; a lovely warm house, Anzac cookies awaiting us, and a comfy bed, refreshments and an adjacent lounge to use. The breakfast in the morning was top notch, with the full assortment of cereals, fresh fruit (some from their garden,) yoghurt, eggs on toast, with lovely roasted baby tomatoes (home grown) and more toast and choices of jams and preserves. Finished off with our favourite teas. Lovely chat with Marie, and some suggestions on places to check out in Taupo. I can thoroughly recommend Stay Taupo B & B!

Rooms: Fantastic rooms, spacious, en-suite, everything and everywhere spotlessly clean. Fabulous selection of teas, coffee, cookies, chocolates, crisps, carafe of water with glasses and wine glasses, beautifully laid out on a spotless white tablecloth, amazing! Nearby activities: So much to do: river trips, thermal pools and much more besides on the lake. Safety: This is a four year old property and everything has been thought of, security is excellent. Walkability: We walked to the lake/restaurants and back, no problem. Food & drinks: The breakfast was delicious, with a good choice of cereals, fresh fruit, mainly from the garden. Toast with marmalade and homemade raspberry jam. Followed by perfectly cooked eggs and bacon. Noteworthy details: This boutique b&b is exceptional. Ken and Marie are very friendly and we enjoyed a glass of wine with them in their sunken garden on our arrival.

Ken and Marie are experienced hosts who have created everything a high end B&B should be - a warm welcome, quality linen and furnishings, homemade biscuits on arrival and a fabulous breakfast. Their house is thoughtfully planned to ensure you have privacy and it is in a quiet area of Taup. We loved the outdoor seating area with the hanging egg chairs - perfect for having a drink in as the sun went down. They thoroughly deserve their 10 rating. We will be recommending them wholeheartedly. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Stay Taupo boutique bed and breakfast is awesome! Ken and Marie were fantastic! Rooms quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast very good! Good location. Highly recommend. Will be back! Your Canadian guests
