We travel from Wellington to Auckland and our car engine cover plate was unscrewed and we went to Pit Stop Taupo to fix it and Marcus helped us and way he fixed it was really amazing. Definitely will go back if passing through. Thanks Marcus.

Not impressed, wont be back, had my battery replaced by them less than 2 years ago, was under warranty. Had an issue where if I didnt drive my car for a few days Id have a dead battery, this happened about 7 times then the car wouldnt even jump start. So I took the battery in as we had to make a trip out of town and it wouldnt charge even on a plug in charger. They replaced the alternator and battery less than 2 years ago, but tried to say there was another issue with the car. I asked to borrow a second hand battery as it would take them 24 hours to tell if the battery was out and it was under warranty. They were trying to sell me a new battery and then credit it if the battery wasnt working still. It took 5 hours to charge to battery which shows me there is obviously an issue with it, not even jump starting. Because of the battery not working we couldnt make it to the airport to pick up my step daughter and my partner had to borrow another car while I stayed behind to sort out what was going on with the battery. Went to other places they said that is ridiculous and they would have loaned a battery to buy time determine what was wrong with the one I spent $241.00 just over a year ago. They suggested to send out their mobile Mechanic stating there must have been something else wrong with the car, but its not that and Im not stupid. They said the warranty for the battery runs out in November so will probably muck be around until then. Horrible service and absolutely useless. Pitstop Taupo was helpful pleasant and went over and beyond to deliver the result that myself and Son were after for getting his car back to a WOF standard. Thanks Peter for all the advice and care you took of our vehicle. Their attention to detail and quality of work is nothing short of 5 stars. Also a big shout out to Susan and Lucy who must have worked endlessly to get us the best deal for the job required. Again very much appreicated. Thanks Brent and Charlie.
