Hoping to get some nostalgia dining here, the pork roast was tough and the crackling was not even crackling, it was like the meat had been microwaved. The roast veges tastes like left overs from the day before. Dessert was disappointing how do you dry out a sticky date pudding? apple strudel was cold and stale like it had been in the fridge for days. An expensive and low point of our holiday. The one star was for the pasta dish that was okay to eat.

The staff were friendly and service was very good. The meals were not good value for money unfortunately. Fish was dry and a very small portion on a mound of mashed potatoes with olive oil and endamame which is a weird combination. The chicken salad had hardly any chicken and was bland even with the creamy herb dressing. The decor is old fashioned retro but the prices are anything but. Theres a lot of competition in town so they need to improve whats on offer.

Had a wonderful dinner which was very enjoyable. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Portion sizes were good.
