Computer Freeks

I am a visitor here and managed to get drenched by a rogue wave with my phone in my pocket. The next day it wouldn't charge. I took it to Computer Freeks in Whitianga and they were wonderful. They sorted the phone by the afternoon and charged a good price. Great service and such a relief for me. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

Took a week to not be able to diagnose a hardware vs software issue, couldnt tell me more than i already knew and didn't have basic spare hardware to test...they also took way too long to not be able to verify a problem, very strange. Seems they are best equipped to deal with old people laptop won't turn on type problems, which is fair enough in this town

Great service, staff is very helpful, friendly. Awesome communications as to progress. Clear explanations were offered to me, so I was able to make well informed decessions in regards to which services to go for. Also very happy with the reasonable service fees.

Take your business somewhere else. They quoted me $475 on a repair (which was reasonable) and said it would take a couple months to get it and said they had already ordered the part. Then a month or so later they asked me to bring my computer in to confirm the correct part to order (which they supposedly already ordered) then they call me in another month when the repairs should have been completed to tell me that they haven't ordered the part, they need to switch their supplier and thay I need to pay $700 something instead. Just take your business to Auckland or Hamilton it will be worth the drive. Oh and to say sorry they offered me $10 extra when giving my money back, but the amount they gave back was actually only a couple dollars more than they owed me. Thanks for nothing guys
