        We ordered Indian food for takeaway and were not disappointed! The restaurant was pretty empty during Easter break, and the order was tended to quickly. We tried two vegetarian curries - Kadhai Paneer and Dal Makhani. Kadhai Paneer was absolutely delicious, with properly proportioned Paneer dunked in rich gravy. The naans were soft and well cooked. We also had the Vegetable Biriyani, which was well spiced. It was a great meal to end our day at Whitianga.

        The service was prompt and friendly. The food was comforting and absolutely delicious. We had the samosas... small tasty morsels covered in flavour rich sauce and crunchy toppings for texture. Original and a great starter for a very reasonable price. We then had the leek and potato soup. It was exactly what we hoped... tasty, well seasoned, creamy, hearty, and plentiful. We will be going back to this restaurant. Thank you to the chef and hard working front staff.
