Came in with an injured toe and was helped by the friendly receptionist, nurse and doctor. Waited less than 5 minutes. Excellent service. Positive experience.

As New Zealand residents we were asked to prepay 125nzd before seeing the doctor. They were not sure whether this money could be reimbursed by the Southern Cross insurance.

Not receiving the correct information needed for booking an appointment. Handed in my forms to have the MBMC as my primary doctor and there was no progress on that which causes me to pay Non patient prices still.

PLEASE hire new receptionists ! Firstly, thank you for the lovely doctor with the North American accent who spent time to diagnose my daughter and did a fabulous job ! Thank you to the lovely nurse who helped on arrival ! On 21 January 2022 on arrival with a child who was visibly in pain and could barely walk. The first thing the receptionist did made us pay $125 and in the process overcharged us by $45. No apologies, later or the entire time we were there. Refund was given 3.5 hours later when we left, with the usual death stare included. We waited three hours before they called us in. There was a couple in the waiting room who also was visibly upset about the time he had to wait(he was there since 10AM and complained around 2.30PM. After 2.5 hours waiting, when I spoke to the receptionist that my child is in pain, it can be potentially a serious medical issue. She advised that I can drive to Thames if I no longer want to wait. I was not yelling but obviously when you have a sick child, waited 2.5 hours and the two receptionists could not care less, you would start to get irritated. Absolutely disappointing, if we had a choice we would have gone to anywhere else.

Absolutely shocking service and info from whoever I spoke to today about getting a COVID test. Very rude, didn't explain anything and just wanted to get off the phone. Ended up speaking to Te Korowai Hauora and the lady was very helpful and explained that we need to speak to a nurse triage service. From what I can see in the reviews of this centre there's great doctors and nurses who's efforts are thwarted by the front desk.
