We hired a camper van from Coastal Campers Whitianga. Fantastic! Lovely couple that owns the business! The van was so clean and well equipped. We had a great time.

This was amazing service Karen and Craig are so easy to deal with and so accommodating easy instructions and we had a blast so glad we hired off them its hard to get that personal touch these days but these guys looked after us thankyou and we will be back pickering whanau 2021

Whitianga turned out to be a great starting point, we are glad we didnt hire out of Auckland. It was a really nice experience hiring the 6 berth motorhome from Coastal Campers. Karen & Craig are really lovely people to deal with, and we were given clear and easy instructions on how to operate everything. It was a real bonus that we could leave our vehicle there and that we were able to take our little dog with us. The motorhome drove really well, my husband was delighted that he was able to sit back and let me drive himpity for him I didnt drive it until we were nearing the end of our trip, next time he might have me doing a lot more driving! Everything inside the motorhome worked well, the diesel heater was great, very quiet and kept us nice and warm. The small DVD collection was great to have onboard, we had a nice little movie night when it was wet outside and we just felt like relaxing. The bed at the back is king size and it was very comfortable. There is loads of storage space throughout the motorhome, and everything you need has been thought of and supplied. We had an amazing family trip around the centre of the North island in the 6 Berth Campervan from Karen and Craig at Coastal Campers! Communication during the booking process was amazing, picking the camper up was easy and effortless, the camper itslef was everything we needed, and more! It fit all 6 of us comfortably, had enough space and definitely enough storage for our week long trip. Karen and Craig went above and beyond ensuring the camper had everything we needed - they even popped in kiddy appropriate DVDs for the TV and a reusable shopping bag - which was so handy seeing as I didnt think of that! Having a camper hire place so close to home also made everything so easy - we picked the camper up, took it home to load it all up with our stuff, and took off on our adventure! Completely hassle free and AMAZING - we cannot wait to book again, and could not recommend Coastal Campers Enough! Thank you guys :) :) We hope to make this an annual Vandies on Van Tour event !!
