New Zealand Movers Wellington

Did a move from Chch to Wgtn and had a small number of boxes to get trucked up. Chloe from the Chch office was a star, very helpful, quick with responses and when the delivery address changed due to my flat falling through it was no issue. This company was a lot cheaper than other companies and did not come at the expense of customer service or delivery. Highly recommended

I unreservedly endorse using NZ Movers Wellington branch for helping me successfully move my house lot to Auckland. I moved from Wellington to Auckland late last year. The moving company I had lined up to do our move, which was a big job, proved to be unreliable, despite many good reviews on google. The operator would only sporadically answer calls, for eg. Anyway in quite a desperate state I rang around some Wellington movers to try and get a booking for 10 days time. Many were fully booked, however I struck Sharon of NZ Movers company, who was extremely helpful and assisted me in getting a booking at a busy time of the year. I am so grateful for the extra distance Sharon took to fit our job in. Everything has arrived safe and well. I would use NZ Movers again. Just some advice: There are a lot of fly by nighter moving companies on the internet. If you have a big job get NZ Movers in. They do not cut corners. Its a very complex thing moving house with lots of moving parts. In my experience, everything has to be communicated and documented properly and with these smaller companies corners are cut. Not so with NZ Movers. They do a great job and take pride in their work. The office ladies, including Sharon & Helen are a great asset to their company.

Generally ok but we've had a few issues with breakage and some inadequate packing of art work and paintings. I'd suggest close involvement at packing time to ensure things are done well. Unsure about recommending them. I haven't used other companies so maybe this is as good as it gets. Looks like a few things are missing so I'll see how they deal with that and I'll adjust my rating accordingly. Thanks for reading.
